Hey Beautiful, 

My name is Xaviera and I’m the Founder of Crown Me Chic, LLC.  I was born in Liberia, West Africa and raised in the USA. I’ve always dreamed of a business infused and inspired by the African culture.

I have worn Lappa aka Ankara/ African Fabric from birth and when I went natural in 2015,  I saw an opportunity to create gorgeous hair accessories (bonnets, headbands, headwraps etc) inspired by the beautiful colors, patterns and textures of the African print. 

My dream and business idea did not come into full fruition until July 2019. It’s been a journey that I wouldn’t trade for the world. Our products are handmade unless otherwise stated and are sourced locally from West Africa. I’m passionate about empowering local tailors/ seamstresses and artisans and  giving back to the communities. 

I can go on forever but I just want to say that I consider my own personal style to be structured, chic and inspired by culture. That is what I bring to Crown Me Chic and I hope you are inspired and continue to support a small black-owned business.
